The “Genkier” podcasts are based on the lectures that I give as part of my Introductory Japanese class at the University of Georgia. While they were created primarily for the benefit of my students, I am releasing them under a Creative Commons license in the hope that other might find them of value. If you follow along with them in order, and use them in conjunction with a certain popular college-level Japanese textbook, then they should give you a good start on learning basic Japanese.
