New Genkier podcast up: An overview of the Japanese writing system

In this lecture, we talk about the history of the Japanese writing system, how the hiragana, the katakana, and the kanji are used in modern Japanese, and some suggestions about how you should study them. As usual, you can watch the podcast online, or download it from iTunes (search for "Genkier").
